Those of you booking at the hotel we have blocked, please make your reservations ASAP. If there are any problems, let us know so we can get them dealt with. The official dates for the room block are 02, 03, 04, and 05 July. We made our reservation starting 01 July for six nights; since this is outside the original block, we needed to contact the hotel directly. We were told when we made the block that the rate would be valid up to three days before and three days after the night of 04 July, subject to availability; I confirmed that again today with the sales manager. If anyone has problems booking in that window by calling the hotel directly, ask for the Group Reservations Coordinator (which is what the sales manager suggested to me today). If you still have problems, let us know; we will suggest you call the Group Reservations Coordinator directly. Also, the original terms say that the room block numbers drop to zero on 11 June, meaning that that "subject to availability" becomes even more important (i.e., there are fewer guaranteed rooms available after that date). So please get those rooms booked soon if you need them.

Also, if you haven't sent a reply card in the mail or an online reply, please do so. We apologize again to Internet Explorer 7 users; I'll be working on a workaround for you later today.

OHAY, should I just be making a reservation for myself? I haven't heard anything further on anyone interested in sharing, so I'm guessing nobody has peeped up about that? Just want to make sure before I call - I was going to do that tomorrow.

Also, does having that block reserved mean we'll have rooms in the same vicinity/floor?
